It would take a person who merits a negative IQ and an awesome capability of being stupid to think that Rock/Metal music implicates Satanism...I don't know whether its the effect of being blindly religious, which isn't something good, or just the simple fact that some people have very limited understanding to come to such a conclusion....I pity people who have come to such a relation between music and religious views...Idiots...

Elie, it is not a question of music/religion... who told you that between those guys who plays metal music there is no good people and with faith in their heart. I think simply music -even soft one or classical- implements in listeners some addiction... we can be addicted to music like we are to coffee or smoking... and when the music is loud and so vibrant… the addiction can be more strong and go further... don’t forget us human in nature there was no such music even no soft one… Compositions come later. In this life and modern time, addictions are now in every corner... Lack of faith and weakness in our spirituality push us to all kind of addictions…. for sure LOUD and vivacious music can be a sign of terrible addiction… sometime we like to live in NOISE because we are afraid of Silence… .. I cannot mention more… I was into that music… but prefer here to not speak about my life... Of course Elie I will not vote you’re satanic… the word the site is using is I think too much emphasized and brutal…

Karl, this poll refers to Metal as implicating Satanism....I am not mentioning the fact that it can be addicting or not, as I can tell you myself I am strongly connected to the music myself. What I am criticizing is the fact that some people automatically calculate that when a person listens to Metal he is directly a Satanist. Sure, we've had some cases like Burzum and Mayhem, but that is the strict minority and is less than 10% of the ARTISTS, not the listeners. Some people may be influenced by the music and get in over their heads, those are people not fit to listen to Metal. Metal is about freedom of one's soul, not its imprisonment. When I listen to a Pop song, I feel the stupidity the world has come to, since all the lyrics are I Fucked My Hoe In Her Back Doo. Now take metal, for example Megadeth or Kreator : their lyrics refer to the current political situation, senseless wars and all contemporary issues. Do you honestly think that this music implicates satanism or in fact wakes up common sense ? The question asked in this poll is very much far from track, as the answer is not discussable, it is known.

Dear All: The Poll is about metal lebanese listeners and not Artists who compose music. I am sorry I had this in mind and I liked to mention. Nice chat between Elie and Karl, both clever replies.
